Hi Duke and All,  About today's paint in a spray can -- I have used 
different ones all claiming to engine or industrial etc,  most I found could 
be washed off with soap and water,  definitely with brake clean,  I think 
you could drink the stuff and it probably wouldn't hurt you much...what I 
have done on a number of projects is to have single stage epoxy enamel mixed 
at the auto paint supplier or your local body shop,  to match the engine 
color you want,  add hardener and spray...be sure to have the appropriate 
respirator,  this paint will be resistant to fuel, brake clean and general 
cleaning solutions,  it's worth the extra effort for a nice job,  Clyde-----
