On my stock Tiger I use the new version of the SU pump, the one with
transistors. I bought it from Moss, it's the same pump used on one of
the Big Healeys (BT7 maybe?), just don't remember off-hand. Been ticking
away just fine for the last five years without a hitch.

For the not-so-stock Tiger I use the Holley Redhead. I mounted it in the
same area as the stock MK1 location but fabricated an L-shaped heat
shield so that I could run the pump vertically with the inlet/outlet at
the bottom. This position keeps the pump primed and the heat shield
deflects the heat from the muffler. I installed a filter before the pump
and have one after as well.

I also use a fuel pressure regulator up by the carb as the Holley
generates a little more pressure than the carb likes. The SU does not
have the pressure problem, but may starve your engine when you run a
bigger carb than stock.

What are folks using for a replacement fuel pumps? I have a 1A and
289/F4B setup, and the pump in it is a Hardi (probably Beck-Arnley
sourced) in the stock location.
