I have covered this years ago.  Your nearest Caterpillar dealer parts
counter
sells genuine CAT bolts, nuts, washers.  All grade 8, phosphate
coated for
outdoor use, feature rolled threads and are quality USA made.
Deere bolts are
supposed to be good.  Washers?  CAT washers
actually fit the underside of a
bolt head relief and have the correct
taper side.  Taper?  That's so the
washer straightens up when
torgue is applied.

Forget the Auto parts stuff.
Bonus.  Some CAT bolt heads say CAT.
