At least the '4HA' part of the stamped number is listed in some of the Tiger
history books as the model number of the Salisbury rear axle assembly used in
the production cars. You may also find a ratio tag held on by one of the top
( in my case) axle cover bolts, which is shown as a fraction, i.e. 49 over 17
(2.88 to 1).
