Alvin:
You could certainly do it like that. Does your garage floor have expansion
joints cut into it? If so, just use that as a "seam," so to speak. If not,
you might have to just lightly sand the new paint on the "done" side and just
do a little overlapping when you paint the other side. It shouldn't leave too
much of a seam. I guess the real question that you need to ask yourself is,
"Will it look better with a paint seam than it does the way it is now???"
