Hello Listers,
Boy, when I threw out a pretty routine question I had no idea about the
avalanche of invaluable information that was about to be released. With what
I have learned in the last 24 hours I could switch careers and go on the
engine break in lecture circuit.
I really have a good idea now as to how to tackle this exciting part of my
project. This is a lot more fun somehow than scraping undercoat off while
lying on a cold concrete floor as I was in an earlier phase of the job.
The list is clearly an invaluable resource for people like me who are
restoring their first Tiger. Over time the list community at large has
solved seemingly unsolvable problems and given me the encouragement to carry
on through some challenges.
I believe I have thanked all who responded off list, but if I have missed
anyone let this suffice.
I just need a few bits of plumbing and a new fuel pump and I will get on it.
