I don't have specific info for polishing out scratches in glass. But FYI, the
pads of different colors are of different hardness. Green will most definitely
scratch glass. Generally, white will not scratch glass and can be safely used
on shower walls, etc. There are also at least a maroon and a grey generally
found at auto supply stores which are suitable for working out scratches in
stainless steel which has a visible "grain" such as kitchen appliances. If
anyone knows of additional colors and their intended uses I'd appreciate them
posting to this thread..

Subject: [Tigers] Glass problem

Hello,

I
removed my vent windows to renew the rubber and felt channels and all in
this assembly.

Problem:

After I removed the vent window, I cleaned the old
dried rubber on the
glass with a number of methods and materials; razor
blade, hot water, etc.

But, I also used Scotch Brite. After completion, I
find that glass appears
to be softer than Scotch Brite. So I discovered I
have a number of small
scratches that I need to polish out.

I need the
expertise of someone that has experience removing light
scratches like this
Please help.
