These are electric horns not air horns; air horns are mostly straight pipes
like truck or train horns. I don't see a reference to air horns.

My take is that French horn is like the instrument French Horn due to the
shape of these horns not made in France.

Subject: [Tigers] LAT 21 - air horns

I'm interested in LAT option # 21 - air horns - and seek information
regarding which manufacturer
supplied LAT 21 horns.

So far I see reference to "french twin air horns" at the Tigers United
site, but am not finding any more detail
anywhere.

_*"LAT 21 French twin horn set gives sharp note. 9.50 15.00"*_

http://www.tigersunited.com/resources/parts_service/pp-pricelist.asp

I am trying to keep my Tiger as original as I reasonably can but the
factory Clear Hooter brand horns
were replaced with twin FIAMM air horns long before the car came to me.

It would be nice to learn that the LAT 21 option used FIAMM, but I
believe that FIAMM horns are Italian.

Does anyone have additional information on LAT option # 21, especially
the name of the manufacturer
of the optional horns?

Rgds and thanks in advance,

Allan Ballard
