Dr. Mayf- those bulbs you powered and then grounded but they still didn't l=
ight up...... Have you used your VOM to make sure those bulbs are still goo=
d? After all they aren't close to new. Joe Valence has a new set up I plan =
on buy when I install my new dash which has much brighter bulbs, including =
brake and tail light. I know you are back to the size 10 hands if U exchang=
ed the bulbs but I think it is still a good investment,as always, TonytheTi=

tic shows the dash instrument lights coming from the panel light switch, wh=
ich gets its power from the main light switch. =C2=A0The only thing my sche=
matic shows coming from the instrument regulator are the 10 volts to the in=
 tank fuel level resistance and to the temp sensor resistor. =C2=A0Nothing =
going to lights at all. But the voltage stabilizer may indeed be farkled. W=
hen powered on, the fuel gage reads full and when off, slowly returns to 0 =
. The temp gage does not do anything. As to dash lights, I have even tried =
putting voltage on the red with white stripe wire and grounding a bulbs soc=
ket to see if that light =C2=A0works. Nothing. =C2=A0=C2=A0 =C2=A0I will se=
e if I can get the stabilizer out and check its functionality. I suspect th=
at I might be able to do that without removing it though? Like v=3Dusing a =
voltmeter on the GB wire from the =3Dstabilizer to ground.=C2=A0 Yeah, I=E2=
=80=99ll give that a try.=C2=A0  =C2=A0Sure will be great to get dash light=
s and the temp and fuel gages working! Last items on my list. Part of my [p=
roblem stems from a long latency between when it was apart and now. I do re=
member that when I replaced the old dash that when I removed a gauge I put =
the wires back on in the same place so that when I put the new wood in ever=
ything, I thought, went back in the same location and terminal.  =C2=A0Many=

=A0So I am going to keep after it.=C2=A0 Was there an wiring change in the =
MK1 production run? The wiring on my gas and temp gages does not look like =
the schematic. =C2=A0If I look at the back side of the fuel gage and temp g=
age what wire goes where? =C2=A0Some remote help needed here=E2=80=A6 at le=
