[Tigers] radiators and heads etc

I have a 302 bored to 330 and it doesn't like slow running in the heat.  I am 
removing the engine this winter and could make some changes if warrented.   
Will  clean up the engine compartment,  throw out bearing, clutch etc.  

Do aluminum heads run cooler than cast iron?

 Would I be well off to rebuild my very  old radiator  (stock) with copper or 
aluminum?
