Graham Vickery =E2=80=93 STOC- UK sent me an interesting note on this =
subject:

=20

I=E2=80=99ve checked out the pretty poor drawing that came from Tudor =
Accessories Ltd. Here's what the 10th March 1966 dated dwg says:

=20

Coating instruction: Phosphate coated stove enamel to British Standard =
3189 Grade A1 & A2 Paint instruction: Colour Blue Thermal Diffusion to =
BS381C No 166.

https://www.e-paint.co.uk/BS381%20Colourchart.asp

=20

'French Blue'

=20

Cheers

Graham

=20

The color chip give a good representation of the color of coarse there =
is no guarantee of how exact the color is represented on each of our =
monitors.=20

=20

You can pull up the color mix by clicking on the color but I have no =
idea how to translate them into a working formula.

Thanks to Graham

I still had some blue on my bracket and I carried it around to several =
stores and the Old Ford Blue seemed to be the closest match I could =
find. Of course, the original finish on my bracket could have darkened =
over time.

Old Ford Blue seems a bit dark to me but I=E2=80=99m not =
sure I ever had an original color sample to go by.

=20

I believe I painted my bracket Rustoleum - Horizon Blue 7726 =E2=80=93 =
a much lighter blue.

=20

Anyone have a picture of the original color for the windscreen washer =
bottle bracket?

I used Dupli-Color engine paint, " Old Ford Blue".

I need repaint my washer bottle holder in something like the original =
blue. Does anyone have recommendations? I have a Mk II, but I think =
the color was the same for the Mk 1s.
