Re: transmission: This from experience: If you're going to pull the
transmission work carefully and THINK before you hurt yourself. Best move
(imo) is as Ron described above.

Doug Jennings ( I think it was Doug the younger...) posted a year or do
back that the transmission, when unbolted (remove shifter, etc.) Can be
removed by rotating the transmission 90 degrees.
and moving it back 'till the front shaft clears the bellhousing.

PLEASE PLEASE use a transmission jack / cradle if you choose to do this. It
can fall. You can be hurt.
