Ohhhh.  Now that you say that, I do believe there is a little black piece
of rubber inside the hole of the handle!

                        manuals in front of me... But.. The doors have
                        the felt spacers on the winder and handle. They
                        also had a rubber spacer sleeve that was used on
                        the handles that goes over the shaft and the
                        handle slips over those so stop them rattling..
                        Maybe thats what you are looking at?
