| Subject: | bump start with a CC? |

There's a question that's been rattling around my brain since I took possession of an '80 TR7: In the manual they recommend NOT bump starting a vehicle with a catalytic converter even though it has a manual transmission. Now why is that? Part of the reason I like manual trannys is if the battery goes dead for whatever reason, I can at least bump start it to get me home. Any ideas??? -- *** Sharon Oblinger *** * c340808@is6.mdc.com * *********************** |
