        Pat,
        It would be a simple switch. Just go out to your favorite 
        previously owned Triumph or British car parts supplier (read wrecking 
        yard)Buy a whole rear axle assy. and replace the one in your car with 
        the locker. The cost will be around $150 - $200. The other method 
        is to get the rear "pumpkin" (that's the gear assembly, take it 
        to a rear end specialist and have him replace the "locker pumpkin" 
        with the standard unit. It will cost about the same (depending on 
        who you deal with) to a tad more pricey.
        BTW the first method gives you an extra rear end with a locker 
        that racers and autocrossers will pay reasonably big bucks for, or 
        you'll have a back-up!
