Funny you should mention that -- I spent part of the afternoon working on my 
TR6 top seals.  I took a look and didn't even try sliding it; I set one side 
of the seal into the rail and used a screw driver to lever the rest in.  I 
worked my way across the seal in about 20 minutes.

Hey, it keeps me off the streets...
