Colour codes from 1976 used a three letter coding system, where the first letter represents the base reference colour; A=BROWN C=RED F=YELLOW H=GREEN J=BLUE N=WHITE HAE is actually Brooklands Green. I recently repainted my inca yellow '78 Spitfire around the master cylinder area due to bubbled paintwork. I replaced the fluid with silicone fluid, so it should not happen again!
