Ron, My 78' Spitfire 1500 has its original paint with the code you mentioned (HAE). The BMIHT certificate I have for my car calls this Brooklands Green which is what I would have called BRG. A "normal" paint shop here in Germany has been able to cross-reference this to more current tables and has matched the colour perfectly for my minor touch-ups. They have even produced a "custom-made" aerosol for me which is expensive but very convenient. Hope this helps, Thomas (Germany) 78' Spit 1500 |
