This is important.  The fasteners should be placed so that you can pull
parallel to the line of the fenders, in other words you can grab the forward
edge of cover or hood and pull toward the back of the car and around the rear
rather than up.  Also reverse the orientation of the dots halfway around. The
reason is that it is difficult to get your fingers under the lip of the
cover/hood.  This greatly increases the speed of installation from the
tonneau cover to the hood when there is a storm coming!  Hope this is clear
