Dear Solīs,

Someone asked for available camīs.

Iīll give you two names and adresses.

IMO both are very reliable, competent and not too expensive.

1.
Darryl Uprichard
- Racetorations -
0044-427-616565 Tel
0044-427-810593 FAX
---Darryl is dealing with his own cam profiles (asymetrical) and his cams are
done by Kent Cams---

2.
Tony Lindsey-Dean
- Moto-Build -
0044-181-570-5342 Tel
0044-181-572-7360 FAX
---Tony has got a Flow Bench too ! ---

Well, I would suggest using Darryl for the 4 Cylinder cars,
and Tony for 6īs. (only my idea)
I am driving a RCT 555/2 from Darryl and Iīm satisfied with it.
Lots of torque highest output near 5000 RPM.

But get your own Infoīs and then decide, and afterwords tell us...

Bye,..

PS .There are 2 things, that have to be mentioned!
1. There are Camīs on the market that are weak i.e. not hardened, nor nitrated(
hope thats a known term?)
2. There are Cam Followers (c.f.) on the market, that are too hard.

Now experience is talking: If only one of those 2 things occure youīre in
trouble, like I was, after 1500 mls, 2 cams were nearly grinded off...

The major problem is the cam follower. They are most of the times build of
material which is good/easy to be "hardened". That means they will be very,
very
hard on the surface and hard means brittle too. Under running conditions the
c.f.
get hard knocks from the cam and the surface will crack...>>> then the c.f.
appears as high speed grinder :-)

Darryl Uprichard guaranteed my camshaft only by buying (his)suitable c.f....
Camshaft and c.f. are still in good condition after at least 10000 mls..
