Pat The OD in my '74 TR6 did the same thing. I has overdrive in 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th geas. Imagine that .. an 8 speed TR6! It seeemed like the solanoid was working, but it didn't disengage. We found that the o-rings in the solanoid were leaking and after a replacement was made it has worked beautifully ever since. Ken Nachman Richmond Triumph Register 1957 TR3 1974 TR6 |
