Great idea John.  I love to browse through all the messages, but sometimes there
are just too many.  In this situation I run a search on the message titles to
extract out ones with the keywords I'm after .  It's probably a little too much
to expect everyone to include the vehicle model as the first bit of the subject,
but who knows if a few people start doing it...

    These lists generate about 100 messages a day.  In order to sort through
them quickly, explicit Subject: headings are really helpful.  If you target
your post by including the model auto it refers to, a brief, explicit
description of the topic, and some indication whether it is a question or
observation, two things happen: 1. More people who can help will read the
post and 2. we all get through the list quicker.
