another question ...
i've interested in buying a spitfire i found listed in the VTR
classifieds. the owner and i have swapped a couple of emails
but i'm a little cautious about buying long distance. the car
is located in washington d.c. and i'm in east tennessee (any other
lbc people around knoxville/oak ridge?) so a visit to see the
car is not out of the question and i'll make a visit to do a complete
inspection if things work out.
what is the best way to procede with a situation like this?
is there anything i can do before i decide to travel that might
save me a trip?
also, what are the best alternatives for transporting the spit from
d.c. to east tennessee (neither of my cars has a tow hitch)?
