I'm not sure on this, but believe that mirrors were installed
at the dealers.  In this way, some came with mirrors on
both sides, some didn't, depending on the dealership where
the car was originally sold.

'74 TR6, with mirrors on both sides, even though the
right hand side mirror is useless the way it is installed...
