To all,

My *firs* tranny didn't have this oddity.  When I had the dubious 
pleasure of replacing the tranny, my mechanic asked me if I knew about 
lifting it up to get into reverse, I looked puzzled.  I have to use both 
hands to get it into reverse now, but it runs much better :-))
