Robert- I had a faulty voltage stabilizer in my 79 Spitfire. Changing it instantly fixed my problem of errant readings on both guages. To answer your question, I seem to recall that the voltage stabilizer keeps the voltage to 10 volts. So at 12 volts the reading would be off also . Good Luck, Kirk |
