With all this talk about freeze plugs, I'm wondering if anyone has
attempted installing an engine heater into a Triumph. I never have
trouble starting my TR6 in the balmy southern Indian winters, but it
idles very roughly until the temperature gauge starts to move. I'm sure
this is because of the extremely rich mixture at maximum choke, which is
required to keep it running on cold winter mornings. It seems like an
engine heater would alleviate some of these problems.
