Hello Listers,
Here I sit quietly lurking on the list while redoing my TR6. Boy I sure wish I
had "running problems", that would mean that my car was on the road! But alas
I digress. Anyway I have a question for anybody out there. While in the
process of rebuilding the engine I am at the "thrust washer issue" portion.
What I need to know is what is the thickness of a "standard" size thrust
washer. If the info is in the Bentley manual I for the life of me can't find
it. Anyway my old washers measured to be .0917" and .0915" . With these
installed I have .013" of play. I was also wondering if I could use one
washer from a .005" set and one from a standard set to get as close to .006"
end clearance as possible. Thanks in advance Craig Bentley (boy I wish I
had
Running problems)
