Time has worked it's magic on the cloth covered wires coming out of my
wiper motor and my TR-4A manual really doesn't address the internal wiring.
Now I find it difficult to get it connected properly without the colors on
the wires. I took the back plate off the motor and find the following:
1. Wire connected to one brush and to the red wire that goes to the parking
switch.
2. Wire connected to the other brush and to one end of the field coil.
3. Wire connected to the opposite end of the field coil.
Question, what color were each of these wire when new?
