The Ballbearing Ballbreaker Challenge Cup Rallye
will be held this Saturday, Nov 8, in San Diego.
This is the 25th running of the event, and the current
Trophy holders, the San Diego Triumph Club, will be defending
the Trophy from other British car clubs.
Registration ($8/car) stprts at noon, with the first car
out at 1.10pm. Where? Filippis Parking lot, 9969 Mira Mesa Blvd, just
east of I-15 (near Poway).
The Rallye will take about 2 hours through some magnificent San
Diego countryside, and the weather is expected to be perfect. The
Rallye ends at a restaurant so that finishers can wind down with a
drink or a meal.
Anyone can enter (even Miatas, Volvos, etc), but only the
highest-placed car from a British car club will take the Rallye Trophy.
The winning club will get "Rallye Gods" bragging rights. Sounds like
another shoe-in for the Triumph Club! :)
