I've used Eastwood's Chassis Black (spray paint)... and like it a lot...
it provides a very hard surface... and leaves a nice stock look...

On the downside... its a one coat sort of paint...  you're not supposed
to throw on a second coat until the first is fully cured...   One coat
is enough... ("One coat" in this application, just means you've sprayed
as much quantity as you can, while its wet, short of loading the paint,
and causing it to drip, sag, etc.)  ...but sometimes you want that extra
thickness... and for that... you should wait a day... which is sometimes
not convenient... and it takes time to dry... so you should not handle
the parts for a while... 

I like the stuff and certainly would recommend it... if you've got the
time to let it dry before handling... or re-coating...
