Havin had to work on a wrecked triumph 2000 complete with engine I was very pleased at the stability that 6 piles of 13" tyres each of them 3 tyres high gave. It was a really stable platform. But I wouldnt get under it with just plain tyres no rims holding it up. The first thing I was ever taught, was when working under a car, always slide the wheel under the sill or somewhere pretty solid. Gavin Williams. |
