I have scraped the paint off my 62 TR3B (TCF 64L) hoodsticks in a small area
to see if there are any other colors lurking beneath the black. It does not
seem to ever have been any other color. I remember reading in  Triumph Buyer's
Guide and other books that there were discrepencies between individual cars
after Forward Radiator Co. took over production.
