No breather?

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity about breathers. If you'll excuse the
intrusion, I'd like to know why some people (Racestorations et al.) also
sell rocker covers for the TR5/250/6 WITHOUT a breather.

What happens to this extra air if you don't have a breather?
