Dear Triumph Intelligensia
Upon delivery of my TR3 body and associated parts to the paint shop, the
owner expressed some concern about placing the aluminum rear fender stone
guards directly against the steel of the body. Dissimilar metals have a
tendency to eat each other away rather rapidly due to Galvanic action. My
only response was, "Geez, they been doing it this way for 40 years". Has
anybody else worried about this and, better yet, has anyone come up with a
solution?
