Paul,
I've towed my TR6 twice with a car dolly and had no problems.  I would
suggest that you disconnect the driveshaft to keep the tranny from
turning, though.  And oh yeah, make sure the straps over the wheels are
TIGHT!!  I dumped a car once going around a corner.  Low speed, but it
scared the hell out of me.
