Paul:

Our '56 TR3 has a 560-15 Firestone spare (on 48 spokers). It is a tight
fit when properly inflated. I'm running 600-15 wide-white U.S.Royals on
chrome Dayton 48 spokers - I know these won't go in the spare compartment
(unless flat).

I'm not sure what's in our TR2 - we've only had it a couple of years - but
its sure to be a period tire (probably 550-15 on 48 spokers). I know it is
easier to remove/install than the one in the '3. 165-15 radials on
original Dunlop 48 spokers are used on the 4 corners. These wouldn't fit
in the 3's spare compartment when they were used on it, and although I
haven't tried, I'm sure they won't fit in '2 either!

So, what we need is a set of five 550-15 WW or better still five 155-15 WW.
Then we could rotate at a moments notice - right?

Hope this helps!
