Yup, that's a very common mod.  You need to enlarge the center hole
where it fits over the hub, and you may want to add the countersunk
holes for those little screws that hold the drum to the hub.  In
addition, you may or may not have to enlarge the groover on the outer
edge where the drum overlaps the backing plate.
