Winchester Blue,Cam Followers

Can anyone that has a TR3 with Winchester Blue please let me know if this
colour is like Royal Blue.  Some months ago someone put out a beware advise
on TRF cam followers were breaking up after a short time,is this
correct.About 3 years ago i got a set from TRF,only now i am putting them in
3B motor & noticed that 5 followers look the same but the other 3 look as if
they are from a different maker,& seem to be softer when you run a file over
surface.Do i go & get another set??.
