Took the '59 TR3 on Route 80 for 63 miles. Maintained 55 mph in a 65 mph area
with aminor vibration seeming to come from the entire car and felt in the
steering wheel. Intermitent. Car sat for 6 days then returned 63 miles on back
roads at 45-55 mph. Noticed rough engine as though plugs were fouled.
Do fouled plugs indicate need for new carbourators. Could vibration be due to
engine not firing smoothly. Is it safe to ride on Route 80 with all them huge
lorries?
