TR6 exhaust manifold

Listers;
Forgive me if this has been asked before. I bought a 74 TR6 that has a 1970
engine. Trouble is, it's got older SU carbs and the newer 74' circa exhaust
manifold.This manifold is not right for the engine.
1) Can it be modified to allow proper flow?
2) If not, does anyone have an older 70' manifold to trade for the newer
74' type?
