TR4 compression check....ok sound off please! - what are people getting on compression checks on their TR4 engines? I'm reading; 137-120-151-139 and with a squirt of oil I get; 145-140-167-151. no wonder my idle is bumpy and high revvings rattles my shifter! dang it - liners and pistons were brand new 100,000 miles ago! - do I dare add piston ring oil additive? (still gonna be uneven - but higher lbs. at least) Carl '64 TR4 |
