        These are not the type of lights fitted to new Lincolns, Benzes and
Lexuses (Lexi?).  The real lights use an electrical arc through a gas
chamber to create light.  These are simply halogen bulbs with dichroic
filtering.  That means that less light will actually reach the road, as the
dichroic material absorbs some the of the spectrum to approximate the color
of the newer systems.  Since standard Halogen bulbs put out a lot of yellow
I suspect a LOT of light is being filtered.
