The TR-6 manual says that there is a tool to install the steering rack. I
have tried to find one, but have not been able to.
If someone has one that they would like to sell or rent, I would really
appreciate it.
Also, I would like to get my wheels straight after my front end rebuild.
When I put on the rack, the rest of the car will still be incomplete (no
body, no engine, etc) and still be very light. Is there a way to get the
wheels pointed straight so that I can get the steering rack adjusted 100%
before I get the rest of the car together and do a proper alignment? In
other words, is it possible to set up the rack properly now and then only
have to do an alignment later without more adjustments to the rack?
