Chip, I had the same problem this week. Drove from Syracuse to
Wilmington after dark in pouring rain with new wipers and could not stop
the smearing. After hearing the advice from the list yesterday about
citric acid and bon ami I cut a lemon in half and rubbed it over the
windshield along with the bon ami.It looks good in daylight.Now I need
to test after dark.
