Philip,

My '70 TR6 has an AM radio tha the PO had the good sense to leave
intact. Indeed, the radio does have one speaker in a box mounted
hanging from under the dash in the passenger footwell, with the face
facing downwards. Although there may have been alternative speaker
placements for the early TR6 AMs, I'm confident this is original to the
car.

As an authenticity aside, the TRF parts catalogue insists that the TR6
began using a horn relay around CC75000 or so, yet while trying to get
the horn back to work on my '70 (CC50079, actually built Nov 69) I found
a horn relay right where the Bently said it would be for later models
(and apparently the cause of my problems). Now the relay is badly
rusted, appears original, and the PO doesn't recall having any major
rewiring done in the car's history. So, anyone else find something
similar? A detail WELL out of order from the correct setup, but not a
PO job??
