I have what I believe is an unusual problem. The drivers side window on my
'75 TR6 won't stay up. I have pulled the inner panel and it seems to be in
pretty good shape inside. The window rolls up although it waws jammed when
I bought the car. In fact it must have been hard to operate for some time
as the handle had the knob broken off. This was done by the Dumb Previous
Owner, this dumb owner is the one who can't figure out how to fix it. I've
put it all back togerther as it looks like it should go. As I say, it works
but then falls down at least part way. By the way, the spring seems to be
in place and working, but I suspect that this must be what keeps the tension
on the mechanism and the window up?? Any advice accepted, this is just one
of the little things about this car that would drivbe me nuts if I had to
use it seriously.
