Subject: Rover 3500 problem
Here is a good question for TR8 fuel injection owners. A friend of mine
has a Rover 3500 that has the same injection setup as a TR8. We are
having problems with car. First problem is that is a bear to try and get
started. When it does start it seems to idle very rich and it won't
accelerate from idle to high RPM. If you sneak up on it it will go to
high RPM and will rev very nicely but if you just jab the throttle it will
sputter and die. We believe the ECU is fine but are willing to accept the
fact that it isn't. Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.
