I thought you might get a smile from what happen here yesterday.
I had ordered 3 small Lucas items from TRF about 2 weeks ago and I was
getting concerned and annoyed that it had been 1 1/2 weeks and the order
had not shown up. Usually, if I order on a Monday the stuff arrives
Wednesday or Thursday. I called Joanne, in customer service, and she told
me it had been shipped first class US Post. She sent me a replacement for
the one critical item in the order and we decided to wait a couple of days
on the rest.
Well that night I got home and there was a very mangled small box from TRF
that had been jammed in a sorter or conveyer belt somewhere because the
only side of the box that was not torn and repaired with tape by the Post
Office was the mailing label side.
I shook it and there was something inside... so I opened it up. No foam
peanuts and no TR parts. Inside was the TRF invoice and a plastic bag with
Playtex logos all over it and there was something soft in it.
I opened the bag and what did I find.... a black size 50, D cup Playtex
bra. I am proud to say that no one in my family will be able to use it.
I called TRF to see if I could return it for credit... but no dice..... I
guess I'll have to add it my Triumph parts inventory. I'm sure it will
come in handy for something.... it's big enough to be used as a TR4 bra.
Joanne at TRF got a good laugh and they sent a replacement order that day.
You never know what comes in the mail. If you want it to get there and in
one piece don't mail it use UPS.
