TR3/4 engine in spit?

Has anyone ever thought of or even tried to install a TR3 or 4 engine
into a Spitfire?
I have a few spare 3/4 engines that are just laying around; and
personally I know more
about those engines that the spits.
to add to the spits list 'Argument'  :)  if converting with these it
would be more powerful
but w/o losing the small British to the BIG American or Japanese.....
